    Mr. Harrington is the founder and President of the Drowning Coalition and the President of the Paradise Vally Hospital. The Drowning Coalition sponsors the annual April Pool's Day Launch and helps many of the local fire departments, swim clubs and city agencies organize and publicize April Pool's Day Events within each of their respective cities. The Drowning Coalition is always working behind the scenes improving public awareness and promoting water safety.

    Phoenix Children's Hospital coordinates the Valley of the Sun's premier water safety event. Water Safety Day is organized by Water Watchers at Phoenix Children's Hospital, and is takes place at a different school each year. More than 1200 first graders come together at the event to learn critical drowning prevention lessons.
