YEAR-OLD BOY VICTIM OF NEAR DROWNING A 1-year-old Tempe boy nearly drowned Sunday after climbing through a pet door and into a pool at a house in the 2300 block of E. Riviera Drive, according to the Tempe Fire Department.
The boy's father found Brandon Brock floating in the water around 6:45 a.m. Sunday. With instructions from a 911 operator, his father performed CPR.
It is unclear how long the boy was under water.
The boy was listed in critical condition at Desert Samaritan Hospital in Mesa.
