A young boy nearly drowned after falling into a canal in Queen Creek near Laredo Ranch Subdivision on Friday afternoon.Parents called the Pinal County Sheriff's Department after pulled the 5- to 7-year-old boy from the canal near their home.
Emergency workers performed CPR after the parents reported that the boy was breathing but unresponsive. He was then transported by ambulance to Banner Desert Hospital in Mesa.
