A 4-year-old boy drowned Friday in a pool in north Scottsdale after his mother left him alone for a few minutes.
Connor Bentley, of Ohio, and his family were in the Valley visiting friends, said Scott Reed, a spokesman for Scottsdale police.
The mother pulled him out of the pool and administered CPR. He was pronounced dead at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
