A Phoenix man was found facedown in an apartment complex pool Monday morning and had apparently drowned.
The unidentified man was around 25 years old, according to Phoenix Fire officials.
Witnesses saw the man swimming in the pool at Villa Mission Apartments Sunday night, Phoenix Fire spokesman Capt. Dorian Jackson said. A resident found him floating facedown early the next morning.
When firefighters arrived at the pool, just before 6:30 a.m., it was "obvious he'd been down a long time," Jackson said.
No further details were immediately available.
