Phoenix, Az. Fire officials on Wednesday released the name of a 2-year-old drowning victim.
Sarah Clemmons was found floating in a residential swimming pool Tuesday night and was taken to John C. Lincoln Hospital and Health Center, where she later died.
The girl's father told fire officials he was watching children in the pool through a window in the 1800 block of West Villa Maria Street, Phoenix Fire Battalion Chief Jim Baines said.
After the father told the children to come into the house, they discovered Sarah floating in the pool.
This marks the 53rd water-related incident this year.
