A 16-month-old boy died late Thursday, three days after he fell into a backyard swimming pool.
Teron Jacobs had been on life support machines since he was pulled from the pool Monday near 63rd Avenue and Indian School Road.
The boy slipped out an arcadia door and into the unfenced pool. He was under water for more than four minutes, fire officials said.
Teron is the 13th child to drown in Phoenix this year.
